Apprentice Company*
The apprentice company was formed in the early stages when Kenda Newbury realized that the younger, serious dancers had limited performance outlets in the professional environment.
Knowing the benefits of gaining "real-life" concert dance experiences moved Ms. Newbury to begin a Junior Company, now formerly known as the Apprentice Company.
There are various positions within this grouping: Apprentice, Trainee and Pre-Trainee. Each "position" guarantees a positive yet challenging approach to correct dance technique and training. Each participant will have the opportunity to take advantage of learning from their peers as well as being exposed to various ways in which to move within a technique.

Community Education Outreach Program (CEOP)*
The CEOP is a program that was created in February 2007 strictly for those high school dance students enrolled in their own high school dance program that perform well and with a certain quality. The director visits the schools, watches performers during their winter performances and invites students to come take company class and work with the company during the spring season. Based more so on performance quality over technique, students gain incredible experiences during their time with AZDance Group.
